Katherine Von Drachenberg ( otherwise known as Kat Von D) is a prominent modern tattoo artists who was born in Mexico in 1982.
She was on the TV show " Miami Ink" until she fell out with the staff there and went and set up LA ink which is still ongoing....
She quit school at 14 to peruse a career in Tattooing.
Here designs have a Latino feel to them obviously relating to her past.
She has a wide musical taste ranging from Lud Wig Van ( since she learned classical piano at 14) ranging from AC/DC to 30 seconds to mars she also has various band logos tattooed on her which she did herself.
