Book Review.

Rolling with the 6.57 crew by Cass Pennant and Rob Silvester.

Thanks to The Hovian who sent me this up ( I will get your book sent off tomorrow) check him out at: www.thehovian.com a blog about Brighton and Hove Albion, casuals and football a top read always.
Anyway on with the book...The name 6.57 comes from the train that they lads used to catch to the away-games and the book mentions the old boot boys etc and how it went into the casual movement and then it got to " we did them they ran" sort of hooligan book which is what most of them are like....
It does mention Wigan but in one line " Wigan away - Trouble".
I did manage to read it all but it was your typical hooligan book.
If you do want to read this book.....walk don't run to the book shop.
