Last film watched..

I am a big fan of the Blade series since I am a si-fi geek and a horror fan and this horror series mingles both inter-whining quite well, And Wesley Snipes is just amazing.

Last night on Sky there was the last of the series which is Blade Trinity, This film is not on par with the others I felt with the special effects and the slightly wooden acting however Wesley Snipes portraits Blade fantastic and it also takes a nod to the traditional Dracula from Bram Stokers Novel.


Good film and pasted the time.

Other wise known as Horimono is a style of tattooing originating in Japan in the 17th century when prisoners covered up there criminal tattoos - Ironic as the link with Horimono today is with the Japanese Mob, Yakooza.

All social stigmata and connotations aside, The full body art is truly amazing, As shown in these you-tube videos and images.....I appreciate the art form and I may be into tattooing and plan on getting quite a few, I could not do this...

Since last week I tipped the scales at 13.8, I was getting dangrously close too 14 stone,A weight I Would never say that I would get to.

So I decided that I would start running three times a week and switch pop to water ale for a small shandy etc, So far I have got down to 13.2 and going to continue until I hit 11.5 stone the weight that I want to get.

Picked up a pair of Clarks Desert Trek from Liverpool today, Had a bit of a heart attack when they cost 65 quid, However they are well worth the money, The quality on them is top notch and second to none and the fact that they are a company from Britain just adds to that appeal for me.


The fact that there shoes are not produced here any-more, The shoes are some of the best quality that I have ever had and are top moneys worth...I originally thought they where made in Britain however looking around they have stopped making them in a small Somerset towns since 2005, Shame.
And the fact that they are based in a small little town and there history and heritage is still there, Is a big factor for me.


I shall get actual pictures of the shoes themselves tomorrow, The quality on them is amazing from the stitching to the fabric, They really do have details and have that little bit extra that was worth the money that I spent.


Also one of there products is a icon in British fashion, The Desert Boot.


They use the innovating Crepe sole which Nathan Clark discovered that army officers where buying in Cairo at the time.


The same sole is used on the shoe that I have purchased.

Regionalisation

Since this thing of ours has come to life over the decades and has become a sub-culture for the working class football lads.

There was various regionalisation at the start when one set of "lads" got hold of a look one mob may have moved on. for instance the sportswear look to the scruff look? maybe even for the slight time that cycling tops where in?



I think that there is still slight regionalisation even in this modern age, Maybe not the the extent that it was in the early days, For instance down south there is still not a lot of Paul & Shark I am told, And I personally have not seen a lot of hackett.



I personally try and move things on and try and in my own way stay ahead try and find brands that I have not seen people wear at Latics and our lads.

He pionered new musc and was one of the first to play Phycadelic Rock on the radio.

He also played music which most people would have not given air time, Dubstep,Drum and Bass,Grindcore the man was truly a musical icon.

What have become Iconic about his show on Radio one is the John Peel Sessions.

It consited of four pre recorded songs which would be played.

Another iconic part of John Peel's show is "Festive Fifties" which was the best songs voted by the viewers.

This brand has caught my eye and I am currently saving up for a few of ther bits - Notably a few pairs of Jeans and there Chinos....

Thats just a little bit about the background of the company, The one thing that stands out for me is the fact that there products is made in England and this give a sort of Hertage feel to it, They do source fabrics from as far as Japan however they craft the clothing here back in good old Blighty.

I have seen some of there peices of clothing in person and have to say the quality is top notch and I can not wait to add a few bits ot my wardrobe.

Japanse Denim straight leg fitting jean - One thing that stands out for me is the stand out orange stiching within these Jeans and the fact the fabric is not washed,Distressted and is just pure Japanse selvedge fabric.
