World cup hype and frenzy has happened....



So we thought we would give you facts about the host nation,Groups and all things world cup!



Here are some facts about the host country - Some good and some bad, Lets hope that the world cup will give the country a boost in economy and show people how much help they need.

• Almost 43 million people live in South Africa. Life expectancy is around 44 years. Birth rate is on average 2.18 per woman. 20% of the population is believed to have HIV/AIDS. Literacy rate is just over 86%.




• 11 official languages, including Afrikaans, English, Ndebele, Pedi, Sotho, Swazi, Tsonga, Tswana, Venda, Xhosa, and Zulu.

Here is a breif and consise history of the country.

After the British seized the Cape of Good Hope area in 1806, many of the Dutch settlers (the Boers) trekked north to found their own republics. The discovery of diamonds (1867) and gold (1886) spurred wealth and immigration and intensified the subjugation of the native inhabitants. The Boers resisted British encroachments, but were defeated in the Boer War (1899-1902). The resulting Union of South Africa operated under a policy of apartheid - the separate development of the races. The 1990s brought an end to apartheid politically and ushered in black majority rule.

Albam - Made in England.

This brand has caught my eye and I am currently saving up for a few of ther bits - Notably a few pairs of Jeans and there Chinos....

Our journey has been a lot of fun with its fair share of sweat and backbone to get it to where we are today. Thats just a little bit about the background of the company, The one thing that stands out for me is the fact that there products is made in England and this give a sort of Hertage feel to it, They do source fabrics from as far as Japan however they craft the clothing here back in good old Blighty.

I have seen some of there peices of clothing in person and have to say the quality is top notch and I can not wait to add a few bits ot my wardrobe.

Round Pocket Shirt with a Chambray rinse wash.

Japanse Denim straight leg fitting jean - One thing that stands out for me is the stand out orange stiching within these Jeans and the fact the fabric is not washed,Distressted and is just pure Japanse selvedge fabric.

Casualco are tee-shirt designers from the north west of England, I will let what they say on there website do the talking.

That its the nail on the head. From what I have seen there tee's are spot on quality wise and are very orginal.

I have got myself the "members only" tee which was produced for the members on the forum, When I got it it was very good quality and had some very good details and ofcourse the fit was great.

I plan on getting more of there tees over summer as I think they are great for the summer weather.
